Sebastian - great to see you back! Did I forget to tell you that I love your poems?
This thing needs some work. For one thing, it should have a little signature of who posted. For now - you'll have to sign your posts or not.
I also thought there was a place to post comments. I guess not. Maybe that comes with the PAID edition.
Poets that want to post here can get blogger ids from me, Sebastian or Ann...
Happy forth of july Catherine

To a good afternoon everyone, This is Sebastian with batteries replenished after a two months break from colorful alerts, I-95 traffic, Breyer's chocolate icecream and you. The latter is what I missed the most as you expected me to blog.
Last night, Curley's was happening. Most of the regulars were there reading, listening, making comments. Tea, pies, french fries (are we back to that or not yet), coffee, great athmosphere and great new poems was provided by our new Greek muse in the making, Elleni. Ann Yarmal, active as ever, is preparing us for an August 10th Poetry Service: "Responsibilities of the Poet: In Witness and Protest" which will happen at the Unitarian Universalist Society in Stamford (20 Forest St. - tel. 348-0708 or www.uusis.org). Ralph Nazareth delighted us with his "Moab" poem, even though it was full of gall bladders full of bile and asking if "we still have enough faith to cry: God, save us!" Veronica recited two poems about life in the hood while Genevieve Vacca acted out her finding love in the supermarket. Great night alltogether.
