Three sessions on the second Friday of each month. June 13, July 11, and August 8.
Location: Social Room of the Unitarian Universalist Society, 20 Forest St. Stamford CT
Time: 7:30p.m.
Theme: "Responsibilities of the Poet: In Witness and Protest"

Readings:
Robert Pinsky, Poetry and the World
James Scully, Line Breaks
Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass
Emily Dickinson
Carol Forche
Amiri Baraka
Langston Hughes
Audre Lorde
Allen Ginsberg
and others to be announced.

We will add to, and possibly ignore some of the following, but do try to
look at these and read what you can, perhaps dipping into all and selecting
what most appeals. Bring your own bibliographies. It will be fun to combine
them at the conclusion.

There is a reading scheduled for Sunday, August10 at 10a.m. We have been
invited to present a summer service for the Unitarian Universalist Society
on the subject of our summer study and to read from poetry we will be
writing during the coming months.
